Dreaming of ways to broaden your horizons? Not ready to settle down into a cubicle? Come explore opportunities for employment and internships abroad. We'll consider your international employment potential, discuss the realities of working abroad and begin to develop your personal job search strategy. This workshop will also include information about Teaching English as a Second Language overseas. NOTE: If you are (or will be) a certified K-12 teacher thinking about teaching overseas, you will want to attend the International Teaching Opportunities for Certified Teachers Workshop instead.

In this workshop for certified (or soon to be certified) K-12 teachers and those wishing to work in education internationally, we'll discuss finding international teaching employment in a number of ways including: international schools, Teaching English as a Second Language, and volunteer opportunities. Learn about finding job openings using a variety of methods, reviewing contracts & compensation, and the cultural realities of teaching abroad. Due to overwhelming response, sign-ups for this workshops have been closed. - The Career Fair is almost here and you just need a quick second opinion and appraisal. Bring your resume and your laptop or check one out (we do have a few computer stations available if you wish to wait). Build your resume in Optimal Resume for easy accessibility, bring it on a flash drive or send it to your email account. Our counselors will assist you in adding the final polish to get your resume into tip-top shape for the Career Fair and/or other opportunities.
