Additional
Fees Due: In addition to the $35 registration fee, an additional
fee of $10 is required if you’re re-activating your placement file after 10
years of no activity. Contact the Career Services Center at 360.650.2980 or

Transcripts:
transcripts from WWU and from those institutions at which you completed a
degree, certification or fifth year program are OPTIONAL. WWU transcripts can
be ordered by contacting: WWU, Registrar’s Office, Bellingham, WA 98225-9008,
360.650.3430. A fee is involved.

Letters
of Recommendation: If you have had additional teaching experience
since you last updated your placement file, at least one current letter should
be submitted to your file. Ideally your letters should come from the following:
principal, superintendent, department chairperson, and/or curriculum head. If
you have not been teaching full time (e.g. substituting), a letter will not be
required but letters related to education experience would be beneficial. NOTE:
Official School District evaluation forms cannot be used in the placement file.
Faxed letters of recommendation will NOT be accepted for use in your placement
file.
