ABOUT: The Drug Enforcement Administration is seeking technically qualified individuals for careers in the Investigative Technology Program. Selected individuals will be part of the worlds premier drug law enforcement agency working closely with DEAs Special Agents to meet the challenge of combating global narcotic trafficking and its devastating effects on the nations security, health and quality of life. JOB: you will be members of an innovative team that offers unique opportunities to apply creative technical solutions to complex, challenging law enforcement issues, foreign and domestic. Investigative Technology Specialists are drawn from a variety of technical disciplines including Electronic and Mechanical Engineers, Computer Scientists, Telecommunications Specialists, Electronics Technicians. RESPONSIBILITIES: Investigative Technology Specialists provide surveillance solutions for enforcement operations directed against regional, national and international drug trafficking organizations. Specific assignments encompass all facets of telephoning, packet data management solutions, covert audio and video deployments and radio communications. Employees will have the opportunity to manage these projects from concept initiation to field deployment.
