| Job Description/ Requirements: | Salary: Grade 15, $16.67-$25.01 per hour DOE, LOCATION. Bellingham Residential Reentry Center. 1641 Baker Creek Place, Bellingham, WA 98226. SUPERVISOR. Program Manager. RESPONSIBILITIES. Provide therapy and community support services to clients of Pioneer Mental Treatment Services according to the terms of agency contract services. Represent the agency in professional meetings and in the community. Participate in the development of addtiional programs or services as directed. Develop and maintain Mental Health Group curriculum. Provide assessments and individual, group counseling to adult clients. Participate in administrative meetings and stay informed of all changes and development relating to administrative, program and agency functions. Demonstrate good understanding of DSM IV critera, and be able to differentiate between mental health and substance abuse issues. Ability to maintian complete and records, progress notes, treatment plans reports or case summaries and billing information, on a professional self-directed basis. EDUCATION. MA in Psychology or Social Work. Maintain status of WAC registered counselor. Experience working with co-occurring and chronically mentally ill clients is strongly preferred. Experience working in Chemical Dependency and Corrections a plus. Must be able to pass federal background check. Must have strong diagnostic and written assessment skills and be qualified as an MHP.
