- Internship & Career Fairs
Career Fairs and other special events provide students with the opportunity to talk with a wide variety of employers about internship possibilities. The Career Center hosts several events each quarter including three career fairs, Community Connections Internship Fair and the International Opportunities Fair. For more information, visit: Career Fairs and Special Events - How Students Can Create Their Own Internship
- Employer Database
Successful job and internship searches involve research. Students can access the WWU Career Services Employer Database to help generate ideas for developing their own job or internship search strategy. Once they have a better idea of the types of jobs, internships and/or employers that might be available, students can use their network to pursue their career goals. We strongly recommend that faculty/staff refer students to the Career Center to meet with a counselor to assist them in exploring and planning career search strategies.
