On-Campus Interviews
How to Set Up a Schedule to Recruit on Campus
Employers may conduct on-campus interviews in the Career Center during Fall, Winter and Spring quarters. Career Services currently offers three different options for scheduling on-campus interviews:1. Open Schedule
Students and alumni interested in a posted position sign up for an interview time by accessing the on-line Recruiting Schedule. Resumes and/or other requested application materials are either forwarded to you by the Recruitment Coordinator for review prior to your scheduled interview day or made available to you upon your arrival. This format is the most successful in maximizing the size and diversity of an applicant pool.2. Pre-Select Schedule
Resumes are collected from candidates and forwarded to you on the date selected by you and our Recruitment Coordinator. You then pre-select a pool of candidates you wish to interview, contact the candidates and direct them to electronically sign up for an interview time on our website, and provide a list of candidate names to the Recruitment Coordinator who monitors the on-line sign ups. This option requires the most lead-time prior to the interview date.3. Room Reservation Only
This option allows you to choose to conduct interviews on-campus but you take full responsibility for collecting resumes, contacting candidates and scheduling interviews. Career Services merely reserves the interview space. While this option can be set-up quickly, it also demands the most work on the part of the employer.Don't schedule your campus visit during "dead week" or Finals Week!
